Egreat has launched their latest Networked Media Tank, EG-M34A. Again, this is a Syabas and Sigma 8635 based NMT. The difference is that it is in a small form factor (slightly bigger than a external 2.5 inch harddisk. The shape is also similar to the Western Digital HD TV Player.
Because of its size, it will not be able to install a harddisk inside. Networking features such as streaming from NAS and media portal is retained. DTS decoding and downmixing should be available via new firmware.
From what Egreat has hinted, it will be attractively priced.
