Istar has just launched their H5, another NMT based on the Sigma/Syabas combi. This time Istar is going for a minimalist option. It’s casing is aluminum and the PCB uses a silent cooler. The front looks bare but all the necessary connectors are there including a VGA port.

After the successful EHP-606, Elektron has just launched their mini streamer based on the NMT combination. This is a mini streamer hence no harddisk can be placed within.

Hot after K100’s heels is the Kaiboer’s K200. Just launched in China, this is also a Networked Media Tank based on the Sigma8635 chipset and Syabas middleware. This is like the Suno SN-HD101 with a side drawer for installing a 3.5″ SATA harddisk.

China’s Yinyan has come up with a NMT that is almost an exact clone of the EG-M31B. The only difference is the sleek silver casing and the Linking logo. Remote control is the same big one that Egreat uses but silver in color. Specifications is the same as EG-M31B.

China’s CMI Communications Ltd’s Syvio 200 is a Syabas firmware based NMT with a casing that is similar to Popcornhour. It has a modern look but otherwise it is a very simple NMT. We are awaiting CMI to get back to us with more information.
