What looks to be too good a deal seems to be ending as soon as it started. EgreatHD has just lowered its EG-M34A price to USD 139 only to announce that this is a one time promotion lasting til 17th of June. Looks like the downturn is bottoming up. Buy low if you can.

The Egreat’s EG-M34A is running in the wild now. Prices range from USD 149 to USD159 (excluding shipping). The tiny little HD player seems to be priced in a range that can rival the WD TV in terms of value. Egreat has launched their latest Networked Media Tank, EG-M34A. Again, this is a Syabas and Sigma 8635 based NMT. The difference is that it is in a small form factor (slightly bigger than a external 2.5 inch harddisk. The shape is also similar to the Western Digital HD TV Player.
